Sans plus, pas nécessaire de s'y arrêter .
J'ai pris un sandwich chicken parmigiana à 7$50 environ TTC, rien d'exceptionnel vraiment. Ce n'est pas mauvais mais ça ne vaut pas le détour non plus... Un peu cher et surcote à mon goût.

Exceptional bakery in every manner! Service, quality & selections are all excellent! Their pea-meal bacon sandwich is delicious as was their veal parmigiana.

Didn’t actually buy anything but got a nice lesson on bacon from the gentleman working behind the counter the morning of 2/9/25. We were visiting from CA and got a lesson the difference between peameal bacon and American bacon. American bacon is the belly and peameal is back bacon. Omg peameal bacon was so good. He was kind enough to provide a sample and a honey mustard dip. Highly recommend the dip after trying both with and without the dip. Was not particularly busy that Sunday morning and the gentleman noticed us perusing the display.

Carousel Bakery is our go to for bread, but also famous Peameal Sandwich and our favourite Meat pies. The service is 5+ stars with the staff, and owners Robert and Maurice greeting you. No visit to the Market is complete without stopping by and saying hi to pick up a sandwich. Its our family tradition. Try their Custard tarts or famous butter tarts with or without pecans. You won't be disappointed. There are other places serving peameal sandwiches but Carousel Bakery is the REAL DEAL! Peameal bacon originated here, it is part of Toronto's culinary history.
Take it from a world traveler, cook book writer, culinary chef and graduate of the world famous Ducasse culinary school in Paris. All Carousel foods are simple, pure and so good. Authentic, no BS.

Breakfast on a Bun was a great way to start our day at the St.Lawrence Market! Stop by Carousel Bakery and try the pea meal bacon it’s awesome! Don’t forget the Maple Mustard and XXX Hot mustard! CASH ONLY!

The bacon sandwich with maple mustard was excellent. The lady serving was very friendly. This establishment is cash only , it didn’t trouble me but I know a lot of people don’t carry it these days. It’s a must try while in Toronto.
