We are very happy with the new home. Construction took pretty much 1 year to the day, from delivery of the package to moving in date.
Our daughter and son-in-law moved in September 6th, 2024 and were married on the front porch Sep. 14th. They just love living there!
The outside basement wall is not quite finished but winter has arrived so it will be continued next spring.
Everyone continues to be amazed at the great workmanship and construction of the house.

For several years my husband and I have researched & investigated log home kits. Hands down we made the right choice with Confederation Log Homes. Where 2020 was a low year for most, it was an absolute high for us in that we moved into our log home on December 3, 2020. Although the weather has prevented some of the exterior finishing (stain) on the home, the interior is our dream come true. Our experience with "ConfederationLog Homes" has been and still is outstanding, our house just being in its construction process.

When we first visited their facility early July 2021 we had a comprehensive discussion with Rich about our wishes and what to expect both as a result and as an estimated budget.

It was a great help to prepare us to make a decision, to select a model for the first house we ever built... in our old age.

The step by step involvement in the project offered by "Confederation" gave us plenty of time to think twice, and even more. And when we entered in the customizing phase of our project architectural plans we can only praise the quality of the many exchanges our choices - and, we must confess, our numerous changes - we had with Rich's brother Andy in charge of the operations.

The planning of the manufacturing, then of the delivery, was always adjusted to our own needs and possibilities since we had to coordinate our building process with the sale of our previous house.

"Confederation" didn't just drop our package, they got involved with our selected builder and organised a meeting with our builder and framer at their facility before they started the construction. According to our builder, this was a great and useful experience and up until now, when the roof of our house is just put together, "Confederation" is communicating with us and the builder for every question for which their input is needed.

Even though it is still unfinished, our house gets a lot of visits and our neighbours admire it as we do.

Our experience with "Confederation" is the best we ever had with service providers. With their competent guidance, their patience and availability, with their great team of designers, and of wood workers, you feel confident that this will lead you to be the owner of an exceptional home of great quality in which you will live in with great pleasure.
