On June 13, 2024 I had a serious Sciatica pain event. I could not get out of my house. The worst pain lasted one week. However the residual pain continued. I contacted Arizona Community Physicians on July 10th, and was diagnosed with Sciatica associated with disorder of the lumbar spine. I was given a referral to John Utz. PT and started treatment Aug 13, 2024.
On the first day, John noticed my left hip was slightly lower than my right. I held my first exercise position for 5-10 minutes. It relieved the pain on my left leg. John, then placed a cork insert in left heel of my shoe & told me to walk around Udall Park. I finally could walk without pain. I continued 4 more sessions with John, adding more routines and I continued to progress with my walking. John has his own unique approach to PT and it works.

UTZ PT is exceptional. John's and Ashley's approach is like none other that I have experienced. Knowledgable, extraordinary experience and ability to communicate how to recover and even exceed longstanding patterns. The office is small, but the kindness, knowledge and instruction is exceptional!

John and his team are outstanding. He individualizes patient treatment to how they are doing and what their work life balance is. He is a holistic therapist and I really appreciate his caring manner as well as his team. I can’t say enough nice things about his practice. If I could give 25 stars, I would as a physician in the Tucson community. I can’t praise his practice any higher.
